Leon newest release for Deeperfect

For Leon, the beginning of the year has been very busy. In addition to touring in the US, Mexico, Italy and UK, his solo EP, Damako, was launched on Deeperfect and his Nights Groove remix has come out on Roush Label. 

This February, Leon delivered Don't Stop, a great EP in collaboration with Hector Coto, which was released on his own label DFLOOR. In addition, a remix of David Aurel’s No Way Out, on Hive Audio, also came out. Simultaneously, Leon is preparing for the DayDream festival in Barcelona, as well as dates in Birmingham, Zürich, Verbania and Rome, among many others.

BAMAKO EP - DEEPERFECT

On February 26th, Leon launches his second release for Deeperfect Records, Bamako, an EP featuring two original cuts of lucid tech house. 

“Tribalism” is made with friendly percussion and ethnic vibes that sweep through the body like a tidal wave of sound. A voice is teased in until it reveals itself as an epic reggae slanted hook that completes the sonic aesthetic. 

‘Trip N Forest’ provides a deeper vibe. The track is stripped back and subtle, pushing forward with a pumping beat and bouncing, hypnotic sub bass. The gritty textures of the drums are contrasted by silky smooth choral pads and a dubbed out vocal which provides the track with an air of mystery.

 Leon teamed up with Hector Couto for "Do not Stop EP", the 31st delivery from his own D-FLOOR label, which will be released this February 25th. 

When Leon and Hector come together in the studio, anything can happen. Both artists possess a special and sensitive nose, their house and techno productions deep and groovy at the same time, where melodies and hypnotic raw vocals are fundamental elements.

 Leon is included on the 74th Roush Label release with a great remix of the track 'Nights Of Groove' by Javi Bora. It will be out this February 5th. 

Leon imprints his very own groove on the Nights of Groove remix, his trademark precise patterns among delayed vocals revealing a production that is destined for outdoors events in the months ahead.
