After June's 'Seeing' EP that explored the more club-orientated side of his sound, Prayer follows up with a limited run cassette release 'I / II,' a two track tape that explores his more cinematic / classical influences.  If you've listened to Prayer before you'll recognise the trademark dark twist on UK club sounds from jungle to techno, all laced with a tinge of melancholy on top. 'Dark majesty' is what this release is all about, with 'I' a more ethereal, classic sound - in the words of Bleep 'sounds and textures at work here bring to mind the booming sonics of, say, My Bloody Valentine or Sunn O))).' On the flip 'II' is a doom-laden Bladerunner-esque number with heavy-hitting drums

An artist dedicated to pushing the boundaries between the classical and electronic worlds, Prayer is a producer and composer who has impressed at both extreme ends of the spectrum. January's 'SEEING' was a darker, club-orientated four-tracker ready to release on esteemed Bristol-based label Black Acre, who mark 10 years in the game this year.
