Danish DJ MORTEN ‘Ride Around’ ft. Conor Darvid Out Today

Carrying on from his immensely successful release ‘Keep Me From You’ which gathered an audience of well over 10 million listeners across Spotify & Apple alone, MORTEN returns with his ode to summer love: ‘Ride Around’ ft. Conor Darvid. The track is out now via Warner Music Denmark / Warner Brothers Records.   

‘Ride Around’ tells the classic story of a heart & mind at odds with one another. The lulling vocal shares the conflict of longing for a past relationship, all the while trying to welcome in the next. Sure to remind of summer’s past loves, ‘Ride Around’ layers soft guitars with a synth-driven chorus to characterize the feeling of conflicted emotion.  

MORTEN kicked off his global influence back in 2008 with a chart-topping, award-winning collaboration between the DJ and multi-platinum selling Danish pop duo Nik & Jay. Since beginning his DJ career at the young age of 14, MORTEN has seen 50M+ Spotify streams, topped his home country of Denmark's iTunes chart not once but twice, all while touring the world's most prestigious festival circuit.  

The LA transplant is also no stranger to a perfect remix; most recently MORTEN delivered the perfect infusion of energy into David Guetta & Justin Bieber’s chart-topping single ‘2U’. Additionally, he previously received particular acclaim for an unsanctioned remix of Adele’s ‘Hello’, racking up more than a million spins in its first two weeks of release and setting dancefloors absolutely ablaze well ahead of his fellow producers.  

MORTEN continued to prove his artistry spans further than simply music production when just last month, the DJ successfully launched & sold out his capsule merch collection in under 24 hours, earning him the title of most successful merchandise launch ever in Denmark.
