CARL COX BRINGS HIS "PURE" EVENT CONCEPT TO NEW YORK

After years of performing in Brooklyn warehouses and Governor's Island, the King, Carl Cox will make his debut performance at the pristine Brooklyn Mirage on June 15th. After establishing and running PURE with Richie McNeill and Eric Powell in Australia, Cox is taking the concept to the states.

PURE was created with one message, get back to basics. Rather than people recording their moments on their phones they forgot about to live in the moment during an event. Festivals tried to out-do it with LED’s, lasers, and confetti cannons, it seemed that the music and the DJs were almost an afterthought. It’s time to put the phones away and actually live in the moment and enjoy the event, and let the DJ in again.

Carl Cox has always gravitated to places where people can truly listen and get lost in the music. Intimate shows with deeper connections to allow artists and take people on a musical journey. Opening acts consist of Josh Wink, Worthy, and Eric Powell. Rejoice and come together for one special night at The Brooklyn Mirage and witness Carl Cox debut performance at the renowned open-air haven this summer on June 15th.
