San Diego’s CRSSD Festival returns to Waterfront Park in March 2020, showcasing once the best of house, techno, and progressive electronic music artists in the scene. The 21+ festival will enter its eleventh edition, with a slew of first-time names, including Geaffelstein, the King of techno Carl Cox, and returning faves, like recently Grammy-nominated RÜFÜS DU SOL.
Since its debut over five years ago, CRSSD has established a unique path in the festival scene. CRSSD has championed left of center house and techno in Southern California, bringing some of the world’s best DJs and producers to its unique oceanfront location, while showcasing the burgeoning power and diversity of live electronic music performance from its main stage. New for Spring 2020 will be a partnership with The Guild, which will showcase CRSSD programming throughout the weekend.

The Oceanview live stage will have Inner City, Israeli techno punk upstarts Red Axes, French producer Geaffelstein, and Grammy-nominated RÜFÜS DU SOL. Oceanview’s live performances are rounded out by Detroit house icon Kevin Saunderson and Madjid Jordan, Belgian powerhouse pioneers Soulwax, rapidly rising star Pluko, and the dramatic pop of Evan Giia and iconic down-tempo act Télépopmusik.
The Palms Stage is led by local favorite Chris Lake, Grammy-nominated and Purified Records founder Nora en Pure. a special back to back between 2manydjs and Brodinski, while Kaz James and Patrick Topping will mine deeper house vibes. Sloth daddy, Sacha Robotti will grace the decks with his funky tunes and vibes.

The City Steps Stage will have for the first time performance from the iconic Carl Cox. Plus the return on Belgian techno super-star Charlotte de Witte, London born Dax J. Legendary progressive duo Hernan Cattaneo B2B Nick Warren, Kölsch, Radio Slave, Monki, plus a special back-to-back performance from Mark Knight and Technasia, including Ben Böhmer live.
CRSSD is located at Waterfront Park, just minutes away from the Amtrak station. The landscape at CRSSD, a grassy haven complete with breathtaking sunsets, splash friendly fountains, and three waterfront stages (Oceanview, Palms, City Steps).
