Festival season is in full swing, Denver’s beloved music event Global Dance Festival makes its return to Sports Authority Field at Mile High for its sixteenth installment. The largest annual summer music festival in the Rocky Mountain region will take place on July 20-21st. What makes Global Dance Festival an essential to attend this year? Besides from the diverse lineup and beautiful scenery in Denver, Colorado is the side attractions and unbelievable vibes. For two action-packed days, attendees are welcomed to explore a massive playground as the grounds at Sports Authority Field at Mile High are transformed into a true, all-encompassing festival experience that includes four massive stages and a Silent Disco, larger production than ever before, a food truck marketplace, free carnival rides, a huge decked out VIP village with private bars, bathrooms and lounge seating areas, stage-side cabanas, an art park with massive installations and room for more attendees than ever. The first reason is the expansion of Global Dance Festival, so more attendees than ever can frolic through the larger grounds. This year the festival will have five stages, which means more diversity in dance music as well as Silent Disco. Journey into the depths of the earth to discover within the Crystal Cavern. Featuring Denver’s very own, get lost between three different channels of sound and explore the realms of dance music.
The second reason is the adventure of exploring the world of Global Dance Festival and all of the distinctive elements that make it come to life. Embracing the fun and playful carnival rides and performers. Get your rush of laughs and excitement across the festival grounds, from the fast and furious 'Sky Fire' to the flying 'Freak Out'. Expect a thrilling time on favorites like the sky drop 'Supershot', swinging 'Vertigo' and high rising 'Genesis'. See the entire festival grounds and breathtaking views of Denver on the towering Ferris Wheel. Interact with the dancer, stilters, circus performers by spreading infectious energy and positive vibes in their creative costumes. Frolic throughout the festival grounds, you never know who you’ll run into.
The third reason is the gorgeous installations and art displays to delight the senses in both daylight and night hours. This year’s festival will include both returning pieces and brand new installations carefully curated for an experience to spark the imagination. Wander amongst the many striking art installations and discover other hidden gems throughout the GDF grounds while you explore from stage to stage.
The fourth reason is Denver’s finest food trucks at the Marketplace. Including a seating area where you can enjoy a mid-festival snack or dinner break. Tantalize your taste buds with an assortment of gourmet with delicious options in food.
The fifth and final reason is the most diverse lineup to date and incorporates all realms of music including, Hip/Hop, Dubstep, Big Room, Progressive, Trance, Techno and House Music. Headliners include DEADMAU5, FLUX PAVILION B2B DOCTOR P, and TIESTO. Major Hip/Hop element with artists FUTURE, GUCCI MANE, KEVIN GATES, and MACHINE GUN KELLY at the Summit stage, as well as JUICY J, RICH THE KID and much more. As well as a special back-to-back performance from ILLENIUM and Said The Sky. Divided into two full jam-packed days of an impressive and unique lineup to date. Friday, July 20th attendees can witness talented acts including, ARMNHMR, Arty, Bijou, Blackgummy, Breathe Carolina, Claptone, Claude VonStroke, Cosmic Gate, Deadmau5, Dirt Monkey, Figure, Future, Jack Harlow, Jai Wolf, Liquid Stranger, Machine Gun Kelly, MK, One Shot Dot, Rich the Kid, SoDown, Stayloose, SVYR, T-Mass, Troyboi, Two Friends, and Yung Profit.
