Rapture Electronic Music Festival, the one-day event during Miami Music Week serving nothing but techno. During the mayhem of Music Week party goers could escape to the tranquil beach environment located on the gorgeous Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. The event took place from 7 AM going into the night and early morning of 3 AM. The 18+ event hosted a slew of elite techno artists who all gave impressive performances. Rapture Festival gave a whole new meaning to music event offering beautiful scenery, stunning decorations, and incredible vibes.

In its second installment, the event expanded many ways compared to its first year. There were six stages in total - TERRA Stage, UN_MUTE Stage, The SOUNDGARDEN Stage and this year Rapture welcomed three new stages, Nomad, Where Are My Keys and ORIJINS Stage. Each stage was carefully designed and created by designer Pao Lopez  who is known for festivals such as The BPM Festival, Electric Island, SXM, Output’s The Roof, All Day I Dream, and RUMORS. Each stage had its own theme with Televisions and fire domes. Attendees who arrived early were able to witness the Live-stream of The Mixmag Lab session from the beach at the Nomad stage hosting the unique hybrid duo known as MANFLY (Audiofly + M.A.N.D.Y.) and acclaimed German artist tINI.

Attendees were able to explore the festival grounds and discover delicious cuisine from food trucks and local chefs. Also, do a little shopping at the merchandise tent or view impeccable art pieces from local artists. Rapture Electronic Music Festival had a unique touch with cashless money. Instead of using and then probably losing your credit card, attendees would have to go to a booth where they exchange money for tickets where then they wander throughout the magnificent scenery.

Over at the TERRA Stage, where Art Department performed another perfect set setting the mood just right as the sun begins to set. Guy Gerber takes the stage and gives the crowd an extraordinary performance leaving them wanting more. It was hard to the leave the stage as Luciano takes over the decks with a powerful performance. Closing out the night with Chris Liebing who absolutely destroyed it.
