HEART BASEL 2017

The world-renowned art and music festival Art Basel will once again take over Miami, FL. Known for drawing immense crowds from far and wide, this weekend of stunning art from around the world will be complemented by equally as impressive international musical talent at the cities top venues. For this year's festivities, Heart Nightclub is going all out with elite artists of all forms of sub-genres. 

On Friday, December 8th, we welcome the UK's Nic Fanciulli, who will be performing his first full-length album My Heart live for the very first time - and he brought a few friends along for the ride. The next night, if you can make it through the entire 24-hour music marathon with a slamming roster of DJs, such as Boris, Stacey Pullen, Magdalena, Doc Martin and more. Closing out the weekend is one for the trance fans - Markus Schulz will deliver a set that is sure to be show-stopping #trancefamily.

Friday, December 8: Nic Fanciulli presents My Heart LIVE

After 20 years of releasing records, the UK's Nic Fanciulli is back with his first ever full-length album, My Heart and he will be performing the album live for the very first time, to kick-off of Art Basel weekend. But he didn't come alone! Joining him are three immensely brilliant producers, all of whom were featured on My Heart. First up is Agoria, the contemporary techno producer out of France, known for his stripped-down, melodic approach to the genre. Next is Audion, the darker, brooding alter-ego of Matthew Dear, exorcising his dancefloor demons with his mysterious and minimal sound. And finally, Eagles & Butterflies, with his seamless mix of downtempo, techno and house.

Saturday, December 9: Heart Basel feat. Boris, Stacey Pullen & more

This is a big one. Aiming to clock in at over a full day of grooving, Heart is inviting nearly twenty artists, both local and international, to take over the decks on Saturday, December 9. Over the course of the night - and day - travel through the worlds of house and techno on a journey captained by some of the industry's most seasoned vets. Some standouts from the lineup include Berghain mainstay Boris, Detroit techno veteran Stacey Pullen, Diynamic siren Magdalena, Toronto legend and No. 19 co-founder Nitin, one half of Iceland's brilliant techno export Thugfucker, Holmar, and many, many more. Drop in at any hour for this marathon soiree and you'll be sure to catch some world-class tunes.

Sunday, December 10: Markus Schulz

This one goes out to the trance family of Miami. Closing out an incredible weekend at Heart will be none other than Miami's Markus Schulz. It's only natural to have him close out one of the city's biggest weekends. Regarded as an absolute hero in the worlds of progressive house and trance, Markus has been destroying dance floors around the world for over a decade. DJ, producer, radio show host and label boss, this trance master can do it all. Joining the legend will be Coldharbour Recordings labelmates and fellow Miamians Grube & Hovsepian.

Heart Nightclub December 2017 Lineup

As we go into the final month of an incredible year of music at Heart. On December 2nd, Sante and Sidney Charles and the Descend Records label night, with Stefano Noferini and ALX. In addition to the Art Basel festivities which will be in full swing at Heart on December 8th, one of the biggest names in dubstep will also be rolling through - 12th Planet. The following weekend welcomes progressive house master Jeremy Olander on December 15th and Flying Circus ringleaders Audiofly on December 16th, for an extended set. December 22nd, Incorrect Music boss Anthony Attalla comes at us with an extended set. The final weekend of December sees trance legends Aly & Fila take the stage on December 29th, with the final days of the month dedicated to ringing in the New Year. 

Saturday, December 2: Stefano Noferini & ALX

Miami's Descend Records imprint stopped at nothing to bring out the big guns for their label night, welcoming Italy's Stefano Noferini to the decks. Noferini is known for putting a shining touch on dance floor heaters and has surpassed some of the biggest names in dance music on various dance music charts - and for good reason. He draws influences from different genres and melds them into one brilliantly effortless sound, placing him in a class of his own. Joining the legend will be Descend's head curator, ALX, and roster artist Bryan Estefani, neither of whom are strangers to the Heart decks.

Friday, December 8: 12th Planet

Calling all bass heads: one of the biggest names in dubstep, 12th Planet, will be rolling through Heart Nightclub on December 8, for the Miami stop of his Sooo Sick tour. Dubbed 'Los Angeles dubstep God' by Rolling Stone, his style of music actually transcends and extends beyond dubstep to encompass the world of EDM into a style all his own. In support of the night, 12th Planet is bringing just a few friends along for the ride to the moon and back: Nitti Gritti, Loky, Throwdown, Katustrophix, Goon, Remy, and Jnox.

Friday, December 15: Jeremy Olander

Vivrant label boss Jeremy Olander takes over the decks on December 15. Olander got his start as an affiliate of Eric Prydz' Pryda & Friends imprint - offering up an unprecedented number of releases, mixes, and shows in a short amount of time. He has since worked his way up through the ranks of the progressive and emotional house to be referred to as a 'saviour' of the genre. New York's Vanjee is also on the bill for the evening. An artist with multi-faceted personas, he has been known to draw intimate house crowds and throw down marathon techno sets - either way, it will be one for the books.

Saturday, December 16: Audiofly

Straight from Barcelona are the boys from Audiofly! Over the years, they have avoided limiting themselves by sticking to one genre and rather branching far and wide into the worlds of house and techno and beyond. They are dedicated to constantly pushing the boundaries of the genres with the help of their two record labels - Supernature and Maison d'Etre - and their party brand, Flying Circus, which has become a mainstay in the dance music scene. Catch them at Heart on December 16 for a special extended set.

Friday, December 22: Anthony Attalla

Anthony Attalla is a star on the rise. He has charted nearly 80 Top 100 tracks on Beatport and is running the increasingly successful Incorrect Music imprint, which is gaining a wealth of industry praise. Aside from his own label, industry heavyweights like Suara and Toolroom Records have sought his productions out, productions which have indicated him as a modern day house music tastemaker. He will be delivering an extended set on December 22 - our kind of early Christmas present.

Friday, December 29: Aly & Fila

Dubbed 'the Shamans of Egyptrance', Aly & Fila are considered one of the biggest names in trance on both local and global stages. Their beautiful brand of uplifting, euphoric trance has earned them a wealth of respect from their peers like Armin van Buuren and Blank & Jones - not to mention countless fans around the world. This stop at Heart will be in support of their latest album, Beyond The Lights, which was released earlier this fall and is one of their most impressive efforts to date. Joining these giants for this special evening will be Ferry Tayle, who, like his name suggests, serves up a magical, uplifting brand of trance.
